近日，新哲文院**UC Davis GAPP Junior（with CPE）加州名校直通车项目《音乐鉴赏》课程顺利结课，学子们凭借扎实的学识与优异的表现，全员以A的优异成绩与****的全勤记录，圆满完成本学期课程。

作为加州大学戴维斯分校CPE学院官方授权项目，UCD GAPP Junior项目引入原汁原味的大学课程，学子在校即可修读受UC体系及多所海外高校认可的大学学分，**可修30学分。

本次结课的《音乐鉴赏》课程，便是项目人文与艺术板块的核心课程之一，对标国际学术标准，同步实现艺术审美、专业知识与英文学术能力的综合培养。

Music Appreciation

Recently, the Music Appreciation course under Sendelta's exclusive UC Davis GAPP Junior (with CPE) Program has concluded successfully. All students earned straight A grades and maintained perfect attendance throughout the semester with solid knowledge and outstanding performance.

Officially authorized by UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (CPE), the UCD GAPP Junior Program provides genuine college-level courses. Students can earn transferable credits recognized by the UC system and many overseas universities, with a maximum of 30 credits available.

Music Appreciation, one of the core courses in humanities and arts, follows international academic standards. It helps students develop artistic taste, professional expertise and English academic capabilities in an all-round way.

Course Overview

本门《音乐鉴赏》课程共计3学分，内容横跨中世纪至21世纪西方音乐发展史，核心围绕音乐风格辨识、作曲家与作品解析、艺术与社会关联、音乐评论写作四大维度展开教学。

课堂上，同学们系统学习文艺复兴、巴洛克、古典主义、浪漫主义、现代主义等主流音乐流派，通过大量听觉训练精准区分不同时期的音乐特征；跳出单纯的“听音乐”，深入剖析时代背景如何影响艺术创作，学会运用专业音乐术语、乐曲结构知识赏析作品、撰写评论，全方位适配海外大学人文课程的学习模式与考核要求。

he course covers Western music history from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Teaching focuses on four key areas: music style identification, analysis of composers and works, links between art and society, and music review writing.

Students learned major music genres including Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modernism. With intensive listening training, they mastered features of different periods. They also learned to appreciate music with professional terminology and structure knowledge, and write reviews, fully adapting to the learning and assessment rules of overseas university liberal arts courses.

The course adopts a comprehensive assessment and growth tracking system to record students’ daily performance and progress. Tailored suggestions were offered to each student upon course completion.

The instructor advised them to build up sentence banks for art discussions and practice shadowing and impromptu retelling, so as to improve English fluency and quick response.
