On March 27, the concluding ceremony of Sendelta’s first Homeroom Festival was successfully held in the New Theatre, marking the successful conclusion of the month-long series of activities.
The Homeroom Festival, aligned with the characteristics of international education, focused on four core goals to empower homeroom teachers and bring warmth to education.
To improve homeroom teachers’ practical capabilities in class management, cross-cultural communication and mental health education;
To build an experience-sharing platform and accumulate high-quality cases of home-school collaboration and student growth guidance under the AP/AL system;
To strengthen gratitude education and professional identity, and enhance the sense of belonging, mission and happiness of the homeroom teacher team;
To engage students and parents, foster a campus atmosphere that respects and supports homeroom teachers, and build a collaborative class community together.

本届班主任节共开展了6节心理公开课,以人际关系、情绪调节为主题,通过理论讲解、互动体验、案例分享,帮助大家读懂情绪、学会沟通、化解矛盾,在理解自我与善待他人中,构建健康、舒适、积极的人际环境。

班会公开课围绕自控力、人际交往、自我接纳、责任担当等主题展开,以班级学生当前学习生活中遇到的问题或困惑为切入点,通过课堂教学培养学生主动学习与解决问题的能力,并以解决后续学习生活行为作为阶段性目标。

“A Day in the Life of a Homeroom Teacher” Documentary Short Film Contest
Teacher Yosan from the Student Affairs Office shared the achievements of the "A Day in the Life of a Homeroom Teacher" documentary short film competition.
Under the students' lenses, the daily routines of the homeroom teachers—such as supervising morning self-study, having heart-to-heart talks during breaks, and accompanying students during evening self-study—were warmly recorded. The 3-5 minute short films are filled with trivial warmth, capturing the beautiful mutual dedication between teachers and students.

“A Love Letter to My Homeroom Teacher” Handwritten Letter Exhibition
Teacher Dylan from the Student Affairs Office shared the achievements of the "A Love Letter to the Homeroom Teacher" handwritten letter exhibition.
Rows of handwritten gratitude letters lined the campus corridor, forming the most touching “Gratitude Wall” on campus and conveying students’ sincere respect for homeroom teachers.

Psychology Open Classes
Teacher Sean, Head of the Psychological Counseling Group, delivered a report on the achievements of the psychological open classes.
A total of 6 psychology open classes were held during this Homeroom Festival, themed on interpersonal relationships and emotion regulation.Through theoretical instruction, interactive activities and case sharing, these classes helped everyone understand emotions, learn effective communication and resolve conflicts, so as to build a healthy, comfortable and positive interpersonal environment by understanding oneself and being kind to others.

Teacher Alyssa, Director of the Student Affairs Office, presented the achievements of the open class meetings, homeroom teachers’ basic skills showcase, and parents’ gratitude videos.
On-campus Special Training
Special training was delivered on three core themes: relationship-oriented education, communication skills, student psychological intervention and homeroom teachers’ stress relief, building professional confidence for homeroom teachers.
Open Class Meetings
The open class meetings covered topics including self-control, interpersonal communication, self-acceptance, and responsibility. Taking real problems and confusions from students’ daily study and life as the starting point, these classes helped students develop abilities in active learning and problem-solving through teaching activities, with the phased goal of improving their behavior in future study and life.
“Home-School Unity in Gratitude” Message Collection
Parents expressed recognition and gratitude through short videos and written messages. The unity of home and school praised the original aspiration of education and gathered strong strength for collaborative education.
Homeroom Teachers’ Basic Skills Demonstration
A total of 43 outstanding works were collected for the basic skills demonstration, including selected homeroom work logs, personalized education cases and class culture construction plans, fully presenting Sendelta homeroom teachers’ professional literacy and educational wisdom.

新哲文院校长助理徐志成先生以“尽精微以成事,善作为以致远”为主题,对本次班主任节各项活动开展情况进行全面总结。
徐校助指出,本届班主任节是一场聚焦成长的盛会,更是一次凝聚力量的洗礼:3场研讨沙龙凝聚班级管理智慧,10节主题班会传递育人温度,50多篇叙事分享见证以心育心的坚守,几十个互动场景满是感动、信任与期许。从方案策划、现场呈现到资料梳理,每一个环节都彰显着“精益求精”的态度。
徐校助表示,班主任节的是学校文化建设、育人体系完善的重要载体,其背后蕴含着深刻的教育理念与文化价值,值得我们深入挖掘、长期坚守。

关系育人理念及核心要素
教育的本质是关系的建立,班主任节的核心内核,正是践行“关系育人”的理念。班主任是班级关系的核心纽带,师生关系、生生关系、亲子关系、家校关系,皆是教育的“主战场”。
关系育人,核心在于“真诚”与“共情”。真诚,以平等的姿态倾听学生的心声,理解困惑,接纳不**;共情,换位思考,感知情绪,传递教育的温度。同时,关系育人需兼顾“边界”与“引导”,既要尊重学生的独立人格,守护他们的成长空间,又要在关键节点给予正向指引,帮助学生树立正确的价值观。

理想班会课的标准
许校针对班会课的实效性向全体班主任提出了:始于热点、解决重点、归臻原点的班会课标准和评价体系。
始于热点:从同学们身边真实发生、社会关注的鲜活现象切入,让班会有温度、接地气,不空洞、不脱离现实。
解决重点:从学生生活学习中提炼主题,精准导入。主题突出、立足发展、形式多样、逻辑清晰 、规律性指导体系。 聚焦成长中的核心问题,直面关键矛盾,把讨论落到实处,找到可行方法,真正解决困惑、破解难题。
归臻原点:最终回归成长的初心、教育的本质与做人做事的根本规律,在纷繁现象中守住本心、明晰方向,实现思想与行动的升华。

班主任工作研讨制度
班主任节搭建的研讨平台,是推动班主任工作规范化、专业化,健全班主任工作研讨制度。
一方面,建立“定期研讨”机制,聚焦核心主题,如班级常规管理、学生心理疏导、家校沟通技巧等,通过案例分析、经验分享、问题会诊等方式,破解工作难题;另一方面,搭建“分层研讨”体系,针对新老班主任的不同需求,开展新手培训、骨干提升、经验传承等针对性研讨,此外,强化“成果转化”意识,将研讨中形成的**经验,推广应用,让研讨的价值真正落地生根。

班主任职责、素养新发展
在职责层面,班主任不仅是班级的管理者,更是学生的成长导师、家校沟通的桥梁者、教育理念的践行者,需要兼顾学生的学业指导、心理关怀、品德培育与生涯规划。
在素养层面,除了扎实的学科知识与班级管理能力,更需具备敏锐的教育洞察力,能及时捕捉学生的成长变化;良好的沟通素养,能与学生、家长、同事高效协作;持续的学习能力,不断更新教育理念,提升专业素养,真正成为学生成长路上的“引路人”。
最后,徐校助以“初心守使命,反思促成长”为核心,提出了三点思考与启示:其一,深入研究关系育人的内涵及方法途径;其二,在实践中不断细化理想班会课的标准;其三,“协同共赢”,做有温度的同行者。同时呼吁全体班主任把感动转化为动力,把经验转化为行动,以匠心守初心,深耕细作、笃行致远,共同书写属于自己的精彩!

Mr. Xu Zhicheng, Assistant Principal of Sendelta, delivered a comprehensive summary of all activities at the Homeroom Festival.
Mr. Xu Zhicheng pointed out that this Homeroom Festival was a grand event focusing on growth and a baptism of unity: 3 seminar salons gathered wisdom on class management, 10 themed class meetings conveyed the warmth of education, more than 50 narrative accounts witnessed the commitment to educating hearts with hearts, and dozens of interactive scenes were full of affection, trust and expectation.From planning and on-site presentation to document sorting, every step demonstrated the attitude of striving for excellence.
Mr. Xu Zhicheng stated that the Homeroom Festival serves as an important platform for school culture development and the improvement of the education system. It carries profound educational concepts and cultural values that deserve our in-depth exploration and long-term commitment.

Philosophy and Core Elements of Relationship-Based Education
The essence of education is the building of relationships. The core of the Homeroom Festival is to practice the philosophy of relationship-based education.Homeroom teachers are the core bond of class relationships. Teacher-student, student-student, parent-child, and home-school relationships are all the main battlefields of education.The core of relationship-based education lies in sincerity and empathy.

Standards for Ideal Class Meetings
Principal Xu proposed a standards and evaluation system for effective class meetings: Start from Hot Topics, Solve Key Issues, Return to the Original Aspiration.
Start from Hot Topics: Begin with real-life incidents around students and socially concerned phenomena, making class meetings warm, down-to-earth, practical and relevant.
Solve Key Issues: Extract themes from students’ study and life with precise introduction. Focus on core growth problems, address key conflicts, conduct in-depth discussions, find practical solutions, and truly resolve confusions and difficulties.
Return to the Original Aspiration: Ultimately return to the original intention of growth, the essence of education and the fundamental principles of life. Stay true to our heart, clarify direction amid complexity, and achieve the sublimation of thought and action.

Homeroom Teacher Research System
The seminar platform established during the Homeroom Festival helps promote the standardization and professionalization of homeroom work and improve the homeroom teacher research system.On the one hand, a regular seminar mechanism has been established.On the other hand, a layered seminar system has been built.In addition, awareness of achievement transformation has been strengthened.

New Requirements for Homeroom Teachers’ Responsibilities and Competencies
In terms of responsibilities, homeroom teachers are not only class managers, but also mentors for students’ growth, bridges for home-school communication, and practitioners of educational philosophy. They need to take into account students’ academic guidance, psychological care, moral cultivation and career planning.
In terms of competencies, in addition to solid academic knowledge and class management ability, homeroom teachers should have keen educational insight to timely capture students’ growth changes; good communication skills to cooperate efficiently with students, parents and colleagues; and continuous learning ability to constantly update educational concepts and improve professional competence, so as to truly become a guide on the path of students’ growth.
Finally, focusing on "Uphold Mission with Original Aspiration, Promote Growth through Reflection", Mr. Xu put forward three insights:First, deeply explore the connotation and practice of relationship-based education.Second, keep refining the standards for ideal class meetings in practice.Third, pursue "win-win through collaboration" and be warm companions on the journey of education.
He also called on all homeroom teachers to turn gratitude into motivation, experience into action, uphold their original aspiration with craftsmanship, work diligently and pursue long-term growth, so as to write a wonderful chapter together.

Adhering to educational aspiration and values, his sincere words showed his educational feelings, touched all teachers present and conveyed the responsibility and commitment of educators.

班主任节总结大会接近尾声时,新哲文院执行校长许盛贵先生对班主任的后续专业发展提出了殷切期望。他表示,希望全体班主任继续秉持新哲“做更好的自己,建更好的世界”的育人理念,从内容、形式、组织等多个维度构建完整的育人体系;同时,以学生的学习与生活为出发点,敏锐捕捉学生的成长变化,通过专业的指引助力学生成长。
Toward the end of the Homeroom Festival Closing Ceremony, Mr. Xu Shenggui, Executive Principal of Sendelta, delivered earnest expectations for the continuous professional development of homeroom teachers. He hoped that all homeroom teachers would keep to Sendelta’s educational philosophy: Better Self, Better World.
They should build a comprehensive education system in terms of content, form and organization. Meanwhile, starting from students’ study and daily life, teachers should keenly perceive students’ growth and changes, guide them professionally to support their development.
