On her journey in international education, Jessica has stayed determined and true to her passion. With solid academic ability, a clear growth path, sincere enthusiasm and practical experience, she steadily opened the door to world-class universities.

Boasting a GPA of 97, TOEFL 112, SAT 1530, and 8 AP 5s, she won gold medals in UKChO, CCC and a grand prize in iGEM. She received offers from top universities including UC Berkeley and UCLA, yet she never limited herself to the label of a "straight-A student".

She is the founder of the Forensic Club, a published research paper author, a rock climbing enthusiast, and a visionary learner who embraces the unknown and follows her passion.

Nurtured by Sendelta Academy’s holistic education, she turned passion into motivation and knowledge into practice, shining brightly in her own way. Jessica的国际教育之路，始于对自我学习节奏的清晰认知。从小适应灵活多元的学习模式，让她坚定选择更契合自己的国际体系。

十年级从其他国际学校转入新哲文院，是她综合考量后的理性抉择——更优的奖学金政策、熟悉的同伴氛围、顺畅的学制衔接，让她无需延长学业周期，便能稳步推进升学规划。

自带“随遇而安”松弛感的她，初入新哲时虽社交圈较窄，但在新哲包容的校园氛围里，高度重合的选课让她结识了许多志同道合的伙伴；适配的教学节奏，则帮她逐渐找到属于自己的成长舒适区。

“我不知道”是她的朋友圈签名，亦是她通透的成长智慧。在她看来，全知全能本就不存在，承认未知并非短板，而是保持谦逊、持续探索的底气。这份心态，让她在新哲的学习中始终从容笃定，永葆对世界的好奇与热忱。

Jessica’s international education journey began with a clear understanding of her learning rhythm. Adapted to a flexible and diverse learning model from an early age, she firmly chose an international system that suited her better.

Transferring to Sendelta Academy from another international school in 10th grade was a rational decision after comprehensive consideration—better scholarship policies, a familiar peer environment, and smooth curriculum transition allowed her to steadily advance her college planning without extending her studies.

With a laid-back and adaptable personality, Jessica had a small social circle when she first arrived at Sendelta. However, the inclusive campus atmosphere and highly overlapping course selections helped her make many like-minded friends. The suitable teaching pace gradually led her to find her own comfortable zone for growth.

"I don’t know" is her WeChat Moments signature, as well as her transparent wisdom of growth. In her view, omniscience does not exist; acknowledging the unknown is not a weakness, but the confidence to stay humble and keep exploring. This mindset kept her calm and determined in her studies at Sendelta, always curious and passionate about the world.

初三初次接触化学，Jessica便展现出超强的天赋，尤其沉迷有机化学的推导逻辑，常常沉浸在解题中忘记时间。而新哲的AP化学、有机化学等课程，为她提供持续深耕热爱学科的舞台。

学术路上，新哲的老师是她最坚实的后盾：AP生物老师Rochin讲课逻辑清晰、信息密度恰到好处、课堂互动张弛有度，让她始终保持**吸收状态。正因如此，今年Jessica再次选修了Rochin老师的《Intro to Human Disease》，这门课也成为她高中最喜爱的课程。

Jessica’s outstanding academic results—GPA 97, 8 AP 5s, and high standardized test scores—stemmed from her focus and self-discipline, as well as the dual support of Sendelta’s curriculum system and high-quality faculty.

Sendelta’s rich AP curriculum and personalized "one timetable for one student" course selection model provided ample space for her to broaden her academic horizons and explore her interests. In 11th grade, Jessica tackled multiple AP courses including Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, and Calculus simultaneously, maintaining high efficiency amid a heavy workload: focusing in class, practicing intensively before exams, and completing homework solidly. She achieved remarkable results with the most straightforward methods.

First exposed to chemistry in 9th grade, Jessica showed extraordinary talent, especially fascinated by the deductive logic of organic chemistry, often losing track of time while solving problems. Sendelta’s AP Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and other courses offered her a stage to further delve into her beloved subject.

On her academic path, Sendelta’s teachers were her strongest backing: AP Biology teacher Rochin delivered clear, well-paced lessons with proper class interaction, keeping her in the best learning state. For this reason, Jessica chose Rochin’s Intro to Human Disease again this year, which became her favorite high school course.

Teacher Willin’s advanced chemistry competition course laid a solid foundation for her to win gold medals in UKChO and CCC, becoming a key boost on her competition journey. Supported by the systematic competition courses of Sendelta’s Research and Innovation Center, Jessica, who loves science and dares to challenge, also won numerous awards in high-level competitions such as iGEM and HOSA.

Guided by Sendelta’s college counseling teachers, Jessica combined her love for the interdisciplinary field of chemistry and biology to found the Forensic Club, organizing activities such as dissection experiments, case analysis and science popularization sharing. She not only met fellow enthusiasts but also developed her leadership and teamwork skills.

Making ecobrings to bring nature into campus and urban life, sharing tutorials on social media to convey her understanding of life and nature.

Addressing anxiety among people receiving physical check-ups, designing easy-to-understand popular science leaflets for physical examination indicators, bringing warmth and reassurance to others with professional knowledge.

Completing independent research on circadian rhythm regulated by genes and adolescent mental health, with her paper successfully published on a medical academic platform.

These experiences not only strengthened her academic passion and fully demonstrated her empathy and sense of social responsibility, but also highly aligned with the core requirements of top US undergraduate admissions for long-term dedication, real influence and academic coherence, ultimately helping her secure offers from world-class universities including UC Berkeley, America’s top public university.

在新哲的时光，带给Jessica的远不止名校offer，更是内心的成长与真挚的友谊。

3. 多请教老师，充分利用师资资源，遇到问题主动提问，老师永远是最靠谱的助力。

Her time at Sendelta brought Jessica far more than offers from top universities—it brought inner growth and sincere friendship.

Balancing multiple AP courses and competitions, she developed strong resilience and learned to stay steady in multitasking. Friends met through classes studied together, practiced problems together and celebrated birthdays together, turning the campus from "a place to study" into "a harbor for the heart". Precious friendship became the warmest backdrop of her high school years.

Outside of academics, she rekindled her love for rock climbing, practicing regularly every week to release pressure through sports; she occasionally painted freely to relax in art. A balanced lifestyle allowed her to maintain efficient learning for a long time and strike a balance between study and life.

Looking back on her high school journey, Jessica left practical advice for younger students:

1. Focus in class and value classroom efficiency—concentration in class is far more useful than inefficient practice after class.

2. Take care of your health and do not overexert yourself; health is the foundation of long-term learning.

3. Consult teachers often and make full use of faculty resources; take the initiative to ask questions when encountering problems—teachers are always the most reliable support.
